The Journey
Lloyd began his entrepreneurial journey in the early 90s, co-founding PowerUp ISP, which grew to become Queensland’s largest ISP. He then established WebCentral, earning accolades such as the Microsoft Global Hosting Company of the Year.
Joining the board of PIPE Networks in 2005, Lloyd facilitated significant growth, deploying infrastructure and pioneering submarine fiber optic cables. Venturing into China, he founded Sinocode, focusing on software development and QA outsourcing.
Recognizing the Philippines as an ideal location for remote staffing, Lloyd started Cloudstaff with just seven employees, initially supporting Sinocode. Witnessing the growing demand for Cloudstaff’s services, the two entities merged. Since then, Cloudstaff has experienced rapid growth, doubling in size annually and expanding to nearly 6000 employees with offices worldwide.
